Thomas Baxter

Thomas Baxter has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Thomas is currently serving as the Director of Business Development at Comark LLC since January 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Leonardo DRS as a Sr. Program Manager from March 2017 to February 2022, where they managed and directed multiple programs within contract requirements. Before that, they were a Project Management and Business Development Consultant at IQV Consulting LLC from October 2016 to March 2017, providing consulting services for project management and business development. Thomas also has a significant tenure at Tactical Micro, where they worked as a Program Manager in the Transportation Security Solutions division from April 2007 to October 2016, leading business development, proposal writing, system design and development, and project management activities. Thomas began their career in the US Army, serving in various roles such as Installation Master Gunner, Battalion Master Gunner/Battle Staff NCO, Observer/Controller - Master Gunner, Company Master Gunner, Abrams Gunner and Tank Commander, Armor Crewman Instructor for USMC, and Armor Crewman, between 1983 and 2003. Thomas also worked as a Product Coordinator at Morgan Research Corp from 2003 to 2007, where they provided key advisory support for the design, development, and deployment of an Instrumented Range system for the US Army.

Thomas Baxter received a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from Regis University, where they studied from 2002 to 2006. In addition to their degree, they have obtained various certifications including Fundamentals of Systems Acquisition Management (ACQ 101) from Defense Acquisition University in May 2018, Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute in February 2017, Axis Certified Professional from Axis Communications in November 2016, and Design Engineer from Milestone Systems in June 2016.
