Jean Cooney

Jean Cooney has several years of experience in finance and accounting. Jean currently holds the position of Vice President Finance at CJP - Combined Jewish Philanthropies, starting in March 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Controller at the Appalachian Mountain Club from June 2018 to February 2023. Jean also served as the Assistant Controller at the Barr Foundation from March 2008 to August 2017. Jean began their career at PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Senior Associate from October 2002 to March 2008.

Jean Cooney completed a Masters degree in Accounting and Business Administration from Northeastern University from 2001 to 2002. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from Colorado State University, although the exact dates are unknown.
