Chris Shepherd

Chris Shepherd is Vice President of Purchasing and Fleet Management for Comcar Industries. He was appointed to this position in 2019. Chris brings nearly 25 years of transportation experience to his new role, where he will be responsible for corporate-wide purchasing and management of the company’s trucking assets.

Prior to joining Comcar, Chris was with American Commercial Lines for nearly 10 years, most recently serving as Vice President of Commercial Services. In that position, he planned and executed the startup of new boat, barge and warehouse operations in Chicago, Ill. Before that, Chris held various leadership positions within CSX Transportation.

Chris has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from Georgia Southern University.
