Floyd Kessler

Floyd Kessler currently serves as EVP and Chief Business Control Officer at Comerica Bank, leading the 1st Line of Defense Risk Management programs since April 2024. Previously, Kessler was a Program Lead at MBO Partners Oy, where responsibilities included consulting on foundational RCSA documentation and mid to large bank consumer remediation programs. Prior experience includes oversight of control testing at First Citizens Bank, where integration with SVB and FCB Control Testing Program was key to meeting LFI Standards, and serving as Head of Risk Processes at SVB Financial Group. Kessler also spent over 15 years at USAA in various roles focused on developing risk and control programs within the banking sector. Early military service includes time as an Aerographer's Mate Third Class Petty Officer in the US Navy. Educational credentials include an MBA from St. Mary's University and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from Texas State University.
