Jeri Tackett

Jeri Tackett, SPHR, SHRM-SCP has extensive experience in human resources and leadership roles. Jeri started their career in 1991 as the Human Resources Director at Gray Construction, where they oversaw HR functions for a national construction management firm. Jeri then moved on to roles such as HR Business Partner at Lexmark International, Director of Operations & HR at Benefit Insurance Marketing, and Co-Owner/Administrator at Tackett Properties, LLC.

In 2009, Jeri became involved with professional organizations, serving as President-Elect at the Bluegrass Society of Human Resource Management and holding leadership roles at Bluegrass SHRM.

Jeri joined Viamedia in 2010 as HR Manager, and over the years, they were promoted to Director of Human Resources and later Vice President of Human Resources, overseeing HR strategies across the company.

From 2016 until 2023, Jeri worked at Amteck, LLC as the Vice President of Marketing & Human Resources. In this role, they were responsible for implementing HR strategies company-wide and managing a large workforce spread across multiple locations.

Currently, Jeri is the Regional HR & Talent Director at Comfort Systems USA.

Jeri Tackett, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, completed their Bachelor of Science degree in People & Organizations (HR Management) from Spalding University, where they attended from 1991 to 1995. Additionally, Jeri obtained the SPHR certification from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI) in December 2002 and the SHRM-SCP certification from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) in December 2015.
