Yoojin Kim is an experienced Characterisation Engineer in Optical Engineering at CoMind since September 2022, responsible for interfacing optical hardware and software, conducting characterisations of optical components and iNIRS systems, and validating test results. Previously, Yoojin worked as a Scientist at CYNORA from July 2018 to August 2022, investigating the photophysical properties of deep blue emitters and engineering materials to optimize device performance. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Associate at Fraunhofer ISE-Konkuk University Institute, focusing on organic photovoltaic device performance, and as a Researcher at GO Element, where Yoojin developed deposition tools for semiconductor and photovoltaic fabrication processes. Yoojin holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research and a Master's degree in Chemistry from Imperial College London.
