Qasim Shami

Qasim Shami has over 30 years of work experience. Qasim started their career in 1987 when they co-founded Technology and Trade Ltd. In 1995, they joined LSI Logic Corporation as Engineering Manager of the Wireless Department, and later became Director of Engineering for the Communication Standard Products and Sr. Director of Advanced Product Architectures for the Custom Solutions Group. In 2006, they were Vice President of VLSI and Software Engineering at Quantenna Communications Inc. Qasim then joined Ikanos Communications in 2008 as Vice President of Software Engineering and Architecture, and also became President/CEO of TekBahn Inc. that same year. In 2010, they co-founded CoMira Solutions Inc. and has since held the role of CEO.

Qasim Shami obtained a BSc in Electrical and Communication Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore between 1984 and 1990. Qasim then went on to earn an MS in Computer Engineering from the University of Idaho between 1992 and 1994.
