Eric Hulse has extensive work experience with various companies, starting from the year 2001. Eric worked as an engineer in the USAF for an undisclosed amount of time. From 2005 to 2007, they served as an engineer and security engineer at L-3 Communications and L-3 Communications Integrated Systems, respectively. Eric worked as a director of professional services at Zeroday Solutions from 2010 to 2011, and then as a CNO programmer/analyst at MacAulay Brown from 2007 until 2013. From 2013 to 2014, they also served as a senior malware analyst at ThreatGRID, Inc. Moreover, Eric has vast experience with Cisco, starting as a technical lead in 2014, where they led the threat research team and expanded it from 12 to 46 team members. Later, they became a manager of security research and then a security research director. Eric last worked as the director of research at Command Zero starting in December 2021.
Eric Hulse earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Park University in 2006. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Security/Information Assurance from Capitol Technology University, completing it in 2008.
