About the role

CommentSold, America’s #1 live selling SaaS platform is looking for an Email Marketing Specialist to join their offshore team. CommentSold currently has over 50 people based out of India and you will be joining this team working primarily to oversee, develop and execute email marketing campaigns from start to finish and analyze the effectiveness of activities through Marketing Cloud. You will work closely with the internal teams to craft compelling email sequences that nurture and convert prospects across the entire marketing and sales funnel. Our ideal candidate is team-oriented, passionate, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a US based company or client focusing on the US market. You will report to the Email Marketing Manager, work closely with the broader Marketing team, and partner with Creative, Customer Success, and Onboarding teams.

In this role you will

  • Collaborate with marketing teams to plan and execute email marketing campaigns
  • Partner with internal teams to craft messaging that resonates with the reader from lead entry to customer retention to encourage brand awareness, conversions, and retention
  • Work with Email Marketing Manager to conceptualize marketing campaigns that speak directly to the pain points of existing and prospective customers
  • Collaborate with Email Marketing Manager, Designers, and Stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines
  • Define and build detailed segmentation for targeted email nurtures and campaigns
  • Monitor and report on the utility of each campaign
  • Distribute emails through the use of Hubspot or Mailchimp.

If you’re right for this role, you

  • Ability to design campaign journeys, emails and campaigns in Hubspot or Mailchimp.
  • Know HTML, CSS, SQL and UX best practices for building custom templates such as forms, landing pages, emails.
  • Knowledge and experience in building audiences and segmentation within the Hubspot or Mailchimp platform.
  • Experience with Marketing Cloud Studios & Builders, most importantly Email Studio, Content Builder, Journey Builder and Automation Studio.
  • Understanding how to build a custom preference center.
  • Have a ‘can-do’ attitude and be a good team player.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Google Drive, Spreadsheets and Docs
  • Great attention to detail with a track record of executing high-volume email campaigns with a high degree of accuracy
