Dan Adams

Dan Adams is an experienced legal professional currently serving as Associate General Counsel III - Managing Counsel at Commerce Bank since September 2014, following a progression of roles including Associate General Counsel and Senior Attorney. Prior to this position, Dan held the title of Corporate Counsel at Alliant Credit Union from March 2009 to September 2014 and worked as an Attorney for the Office of the Cook County Compliance Administrator from October 2007 to November 2008, where responsibilities included managing adjudication of employment claims under Shakman Decrees. Dan's earlier career includes roles as Director of Communications at Midwest Computer Brokers/Midwest Electronic Recovery, and Sports Editor for both The Cass County Democrat-Missourian and The Winterset Madisonian. Dan holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from Indiana University Maurer School of Law and a BA in English and Philosophy from Coe College.
