Richard Heise

Richard Heise currently serves as the Senior Vice President - Healthcare at Commerce Bank since February 2017. Previously held the position of Sr. Vice President & GM - Revenue Cycle at Cerner Corporation from September 2011 to February 2017, where Richard was responsible for overseeing the Healthcare Financial Management and Revenue Cycle organization. Prior to that, from January 2001 to January 2011, Richard was the Vice President - Asia Pacific at Cerner, managing the business operations in Australia, New Zealand, and Asia. Richard's earlier roles at Cerner included Director - Physician Solutions, where accountability included overseeing a 350+ person team and a client base of over 3,000 clients. Richard's career began at Mayo Clinic with various roles in hospital administration, internal audit, and quality assurance, followed by experience in audit and tax at McGladrey & Pullen. Richard earned a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from the University of Northern Iowa in 1991.
