Elham Yousry Mahfouz

Elham Yousry Mahfouz is the CEO of Commercial Bank of Kuwait. Elham has over 25 years of experience in the banking industry, having previously worked as a Credit Manager at Gulf Bank, Kuwait and as the General Manager (acting) of the International Banking Division at Commercial Bank of Kuwait.

Elham is a highly experienced and respected banker, with a proven track record in managing portfolios, raising funds and strengthening relationships with banks around the world. Elham was instrumental in successfully navigating the loan portfolio during the financial crisis in 1997.

Under Elham’s leadership, Commercial Bank of Kuwait has gone from strength to strength, cementing its position as one of the leading banks in Kuwait. Elham’s vision for the future is to continue to grow the bank’s reach and impact, both in Kuwait and internationally.

Elham Yousry Mahfouz studied business administration at The American University in Cairo and earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree.
