Kirsten Sassmann

Kirsten Sassmann has extensive experience in legal roles within the banking and finance sectors. Presently serving as the Head of Group Legal Loans and Managing Director at Commerzbank AG since October 2007, Kirsten manages the Loans team, providing legal support for various types of loans and financial products to both corporate and private clients. Additionally, Kirsten previously held the position of Head of Structured Finance Legal, overseeing the Structured Finance team in Europe and Asia. Prior legal experience includes roles as Senior Counsel at Shearman & Sterling LLP and Senior Associate in Banking at White & Case LLP. Kirsten holds a doctorate in Law from Heidelberg University, having completed the First and Second State Exam.
