Pat O'Keeffe

Pat O'Keeffe is a seasoned telecommunications expert with over 40 years of experience in the industry, primarily with the Irish incumbent telecommunications operator, evolving through its transition to a privately owned entity. Currently serving as a Senior Engineer at ComReg since November 2018, Pat previously held positions as a Telecommunications Expert at e.Green for Users from October 2017 to October 2019 and as a Copper Access Network Architect at eircom from September 1975 to October 2017. Notable achievements include expertise in copper and fiber access technologies, extensive involvement in standardization as Technical Secretary and Chairman in various ETSI committees, and significant contributions to the evaluation and deployment of VDSL2 and GPON technologies.
