Laura Saunders has extensive experience in accreditation services and program management, currently serving as the Administrative Assessment Support Coordinator and Regional Program Manager at CALEA since 2012, where Laura provides accreditation-related services and outreach to client agencies. Prior to this, Laura was an Assessor at PowerDMS, focusing on training and project management, and worked at the Burlington (NC) Police Department as a Policy and Personnel Specialist from 1997 to 2018, managing various accreditation processes and policy manuals. Laura also contributed to the accreditation efforts at UNCW PD from October 2011 to October 2013. Laura holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Columbia College.
