Michael Bussiere

Michael Bussiere currently serves as the First Assistant Chief of Police for the City of Richardson, Texas, a position held since 2016. Bussiere has extensive experience in law enforcement, previously acting as the Chief of Police for the Lewiston Police Department from 2009 to 2016. Additionally, since 2004, Bussiere has contributed as an Assessor-Team Leader for CALEA. Bussiere's educational background includes a Graduate Certificate in Public Administration from The University of Texas at Dallas (2020-2021), an Executive Education Certificate from Harvard Kennedy School, and a Bachelor’s degree in Criminology from the University of Southern Maine. Bussiere is also a graduate of the FBI National Academy, Class #222.
