Scott Cunningham, PhD, currently serves as a National Executive Trainer at Fair & Impartial Policing, where expertise in teaching implicit bias and the psychology of bias is applied to engage police officers, law enforcement officials, researchers, and community members nationwide. Additionally, Scott holds the position of Chief of Police and Reserve Police Officer for the Town of Kernersville, providing leadership and enhancing public safety. With a long-standing career in law enforcement, Scott has previously acted as Chief of Police for the Winston-Salem and Cary Police Departments, and served as Assistant Chief of Police in Tampa, overseeing significant operational improvements and community relations. Academic contributions include lecturing at Texas State University in criminal justice. Scott's educational background includes a PhD in Adult Education and Organizational Management from the University of South Florida, a Master's degree in Criminal Justice from Golden Gate University, and a Bachelor's degree from Indiana University Bloomington, supplemented by graduate studies in law at Valparaiso University School of Law.
