Bill Hoffer has a diverse work experience that spans over several decades. Bill began their career in 1992 as an Associate at Booz Allen and Hamilton, where they worked until 2000. In 2000, they joined Morgan-Franklin Corp as an Engineer and stayed with the company until 2002. From 2002 to 2017, they served as the President and CEO at CommIT Enterprises, Inc. and later transitioned to the role of CEO in 2018, which they currently hold. Prior to their corporate roles, Bill Hoffer worked as a Flight Engineer in the USAF from 1982 to 2003.
Bill Hoffer began their education in 1992 at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautics. Bill completed their studies in 1994. Following this, from 1996 to 2001, Hoffer attended The Johns Hopkins University and obtained a degree in Electrical Engineering, known as the CCES. Continuing their education at The Johns Hopkins University, Hoffer pursued a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, which they completed between 2001 and 2003.
