Matthew Toadvine

Matthew Toadvine is an experienced Meteorological Applications Developer at Commodity Weather Group since June 2022. Prior to this role, Matthew served as a Teaching Assistant for Meteorological Computer Applications at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where responsibilities included instruction in Fortran and Python programming as well as Atmospheric Dynamics. Matthew also worked as a Research Assistant at the same university, contributing to data cleanup and analysis for a study on MLS real estate listings using Python and R. Matthew's background includes an extensive tenure as a Senior Paramedic at Cabarrus County EMS from July 2016 to August 2021. Academically, Matthew holds a Master of Science in Geology/Earth Science and a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, along with a Bachelor of Science in Fire Safety Engineering Technology from the same institution.
