Ariana Ortega

Ariana Ortega has a diverse work experience in various industries. Ariana started their career as a Peer Mentor at Longwood University from 1999 to 2002. Ariana then worked as a Graduate Student Intern at Longwood University's Office of Leadership and New Student Activities in 2003. Later, from 2006 to 2007, they worked as an Office Manager at the Corcoran Gallery of Art and College of Art + Design.

Ortega continued their career as an Assistant Registrar, Peer Mentoring Program Coordinator, and Senior Assistant Registrar at the Corcoran Gallery of Art and College of Art + Design from 2008 to 2012. In 2012, they transitioned to the American University, where they served as an Assistant Registrar responsible for Degree Audit.

In 2014, Ortega joined Common App as a Member Relations Manager, acting as a primary point of contact for member institutions. Over the years, they progressed within the company and took on roles such as Manager and Senior Manager in the Member Relations department. Their responsibilities included managing staff, fostering strong relationships with members, and providing support and training.

Their most recent role at Common App is a Product Manager, where they oversee a portfolio of Common App products hosted on the Liaison platform. Their duties include collaborating with program areas, coordinating with Liaison for product roadmapping and launch, and ensuring product enhancements are prioritized and delivered.
