Also in 2022, they became the Director of the Executive Office at Common App, a platform for college application submission.
From 2021 to 2022, they worked as a Program Officer, College and Career Initiative at Indiana Youth Institute.

Brittany Horne obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis from 2010 to 2014. During the same period, they also earned a Certificate in Public Relations from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis.
From 2014 to 2016, Brittany pursued a Master's Degree in Higher Education/Higher Education Administration at Indiana University Bloomington.
In 2020, they attended Florida Atlantic University - College of Business for a Certificate in Hospitality & Tourism Management.
Additionally, Brittany has obtained several certifications. In May 2021, they completed a "Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate" from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education.
