Melissa Ibella began their work experience in 2001 as an intern at Kaufman O'Donnell and later at Breen Rose in 2002. In 2003, they worked as a Staff Accountant at Stelmack Dobransky & Eannace, LLC, and also had an internship at PricewaterhouseCoopers in International Assignment Solutions. From 2004 to 2011, Melissa worked at KPMG, LLP as a Manager in Advisory Services, where they managed various clients and industries, including a Fortune 50 healthcare provider and an alternative investment management firm.
In 2011, they joined PNC where they served as VP - Risk Lead & Specialist in Enterprise Third Party Management, providing consultation services and second line of defense challenge to different lines of business. Melissa also held the role of VP - Corporate Risk Project Manager in Operational Risk Management and VP - Senior Risk Officer in Operational Risk Management at PNC, where they managed and executed Basel II Operational Risk Management program elements.
From 2016 to 2020, Melissa worked at BNY Mellon as a Director in Tech Third Party Governance, where they developed a third-party risk management function within Technology and managed technology compliance for risk profiles, scorecards, and terminations.
More recently, Melissa joined City National Bank in 2020 as VP in the Vendor Management Office, where they were responsible for overseeing vendor management in the bank. Currently, Melissa is the Head of Third Party Risk Management at Common Securitization Solutions, starting in 2023.
Throughout their experience, Melissa has shown a strong background in risk management, third-party governance, and compliance.
Melissa Ibella attended Burgettstown High School from 1995 to 1999. Melissa then earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus in Accounting from Robert Morris University, from 1999 to 2002.
