Neil Hunt

Neil Hunt has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Neil began their career as a Sales Engineer at Endeca, where they presented and sold software to enterprise clients. Neil then worked as a Senior Technology and Process Engineer at Vision Systems & Technology, Inc., leading technical projects and managing deployments. Neil also served as a Systems Environment Architect at Liquidity Services, Inc., where they implemented a release management process and accelerated software delivery.

In subsequent roles, Neil focused on DevOps and cloud solutions. Neil was a Configuration Management Architect at Computech, Inc., designing and automating software delivery processes. At Aquilent, they worked as a Senior DevOps Architect, leading cloud and DevOps solutions for clients. Neil also served as a Principal DevOps consultant at the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), enabling continuous delivery in a regulated financial services environment.

Neil then joined Booz Allen Hamilton as a Chief Engineer, working on cloud and DevOps solutions and the integration of Aquilent's Solutions Architecture group. Neil later joined Common Securitization Solutions as the Director of Infrastructure Engineering, responsible for incubating and launching new products and implementing agile SDLC practices.

Furthermore, Neil has expertise in AWS, cloud technologies, automation, and infrastructure. Neil has piloted and evaluated various technologies, including blockchain, low-code/no-code tools, and NoSQL data solutions. Additionally, Neil has experience in home technology solutions, founding their own consulting business, Avior Automation.

Neil Hunt completed their education with a Masters degree in Information Systems Management from Carnegie Mellon University in the year 2004. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems from the same university in the year 2000. Neil completed their secondary education at Mount Saint Charles Academy between 1996 and 2000. Additionally, they obtained certifications as an AWS Certified SysOps Administrator–Associate in April 2017 and as a Jenkins Engineer in 2016. Neil is also associated with Amazon Web Services and has obtained the certification of AWS Certified Developer - Associate.
