Julia Febiger has extensive work experience in the field of research and evaluation. Julia currently holds the position of VP of Research and Evaluation at CommonLit. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Research Content and later as the Director of Assessment & Research Markets at Curriculum Associates from 2019 to 2023. From 2016 to 2019, they worked as the Senior Director of Research and Effectiveness at Achieve3000. Julia also has experience as the Director of Research, Literacy Education at both Houghton Mifflin Harcourt and Scholastic. Julia has been involved in directing multiple research projects, including designing methodologies, developing instruments, collecting and analyzing data, and communicating results. Julia began their career in research as a Research Volunteer at New York University before taking on roles such as Teaching Fellow at Crimson Summer Exchange and Marketing & Admin. Julia Febiger holds a B.A. degree in Psychology and Italian from Bowdoin College. Julia also completed an Ed.M. degree in Human Development & Psychology at Harvard Graduate School of Education. Prior to their undergraduate studies, Julia attended Wellesley High School.
