Ruben Garcia

Ruben Garcia, known as The Life Safety Guy, currently serves as the Market Director of Facility Management at CommonSpirit Health since January 2024 and as a Life Safety Surveyor for the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care since July 2022. Previously, Ruben held the position of Director of Facilities Management at CHI St. Luke's Health - Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center from July 2021 to January 2024 and was the Director of Life Safety Operations at ACME ARCHITECTURAL HARDWARE, INC from August 2019 to July 2021. Additionally, Ruben served as Facilities Director at CHI St. Luke's Health from December 2018 to August 2019 and operated Ruben Garcia & Associates as a Fire Protection and Life Safety Consultant from August 2016 to August 2019. Ruben’s experience also includes working as a Life Safety Surveyor for AAHHS-HFAP and as a Facilities Operations Manager at Texas Children's Hospital. Ruben Garcia established Fail-Safe Fire Protection as the Owner from August 2010 to January 2014.
