Hany Abdelaal

Hany Abdelaal serves as the President of Clinical Services at Commonwealth Care Alliance since June 2023. Previously, from March 2012 to June 2023, Hany held the position of President at VNS Health, where VNSNY CHOICE was established to provide integrated healthcare services, including various Medicare Advantage and Long Term Care plans. Hany has also contributed as the Chief Medical Officer at VNSNY and held leadership roles such as Medical Director and Executive Director at Elderplan, Homefirst, and Metropolitan Jewish Health System. Hany's medical career began as a Physician at Metropolitan Jewish Geriatric Center and Maimonides Medical Center. Hany earned a Doctor of Osteopathy degree from NYCOM and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from St. John's University.
