Michele Gurgas

Michele Gurgas, PE, PMP, is a seasoned environmental engineer with over two decades of experience in environmental management and compliance. Currently serving as Senior Environmental Project Manager at ComEd, Michele oversees the environmental remediation of the company's former manufactured gas plants and other legacy properties. Prior to this role, Michele spent 21 years at ARCADIS U.S. as a Senior Environmental Engineer, focusing on subsurface investigations and regulatory compliance for various industrial sites. Earlier professional experiences include positions at Metcalf and Eddy, Eckland Consultants, the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency, and Argonne National Laboratory. Michele holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering (Environmental) from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (Environmental) from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
