Abby Nurre

Abby Nurre has a diverse work experience in the hospitality industry. Abby is currently serving as the Director of Sales and Marketing at Commonwealth Hotels since February 2023. Prior to this role, they worked as the Associate Director of Sales and Sales Manager at Hyatt Regency Aurora-Denver Conference Center from August 2022 to February 2023 and from June 2021 to August 2022, respectively.

Before joining Commonwealth Hotels, Abby worked at White Lodging Services as a Market Senior Sales Manager and Market Sales Manager for Marriott and Hyatt Place Denver Westminster from February 2020 to June 2021 and from March 2019 to February 2020, respectively.

Abby previously held positions at Sage Hospitality Group, where they worked as a Sales Manager at HALCYON, a hotel in Cherry Creek from January 2018 to March 2019 and as an Executive Meetings Manager at Denver Airport Marriott at Gateway Park from March 2016 to January 2018.

Abby also gained experience as a Sales Manager at Stonebridge Companies - Aloft Denver International Airport from October 2015 to March 2016, as a Sales Director at The Barn at Raccoon Creek & Raccoon Creek Golf Course from June 2014 to September 2015, and as an Office Administrator/Assistant Event Coordinator at The Pines at Genesee and The Pines Catering from August 2013 to June 2014.

Abby'scareer began at Millennium Harvest House Boulder, where they worked as an Assistant Banquet Manager from October 2012 to August 2013. Abby also served as a Service Manager at Indian Hills Country Club Marietta, GA from June 2012 to October 2012, and as an F&B Supervisor at Grand Hyatt Atlanta in Buckhead from February 2012 to May 2012.

Abby's earliest experience in the industry was as a Restaurant Supervisor at Marriott International from January 2011 to February 2012. Overall, Abby has gained extensive experience in various sales and managerial roles throughout their career in the hospitality industry.

Abby Nurre obtained a Bachelor's degree in Hotel, Restaurant, and Institution Management from Iowa State University between 2006 and 2010. Abby also holds a certification in TIPS from 360training, which they obtained in August 2023.
