Ben Elston

Ben Elston is an experienced professional in risk management and operational risk, currently serving as the Operational Risk Manager at IMB Bank since July 2023. Prior roles include Manager of Business Continuity & Risk at Commonwealth Superannuation Corporation, Strategic and Operational Risk at the Reserve Bank of Australia, and involvement in projects at the Department of Families, Housing Community Services and Indigenous Affairs. Ben also has experience in various contract and part-time positions related to accounting and sport and recreation from June 2004 to December 2007. Earlier in the career, operations and settlements were managed at the Australian Office of Financial Management from October 2001 to June 2004. Ben holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Canberra, completed between 2004 and 2007, and is an alumnus of Cranbrook School.
