David Young

David Young is an experienced analyst currently working at the Commonwealth Treasury since February 2022. Prior to this role, David served as an Assistant Policy Officer and Soldier-On Intern at the Department of Industry, Science, Energy and Resources from July 2021 to February 2022. David's military background includes a tenure with the Royal Australian Navy from January 2009 to July 2016, where responsibilities ranged from Maritime Warfare Officer to various staff roles. David holds dual degrees in Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Economics, both obtained with honors from Monash University between 2018 and 2020, and a Bachelor of Commerce from Deakin University in 2017 to 2018.
