Jesse Sondhu

Jesse Sondhu is an experienced professional currently serving as an Assistant Director and Analyst in the Tax Analysis Division at the Commonwealth Treasury since August 2022. Prior to this role, Jesse was an Adviser in the Economic Division at the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet from February 2020 to August 2022 and held a secondee position at the Tax and Transfer Policy Institute during part of 2021. Jesse's earlier roles include a Student Success Adviser at Monash University and private tutoring, alongside various positions in customer service and management at Village Cinemas Australia. Jesse also has leadership experience as President of the Monash Actuarial Students Society. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Actuarial Science from Monash University, supplemented by international study experiences in entrepreneurship and business at institutions including Copenhagen Business School and the University of California, Berkeley.
