Joel Findlay

Joel Findlay is a finance and economics professional with extensive experience in various roles within the Commonwealth Treasury and the Australian Office of Financial Management. Currently serving as Assistant Director in the Macroeconomic Conditions Division since October 2022, Joel has previously held multiple analyst positions in macroeconomic analysis and liquidity funding. Additional experience includes a secondment as Acting Assistant Director in the Financial Markets Unit, roles at PwC Australia in governance, risk, and compliance, and earlier positions in bookkeeping and surveying. Joel is pursuing a Master of Economic Analysis at the University of Sydney, holding a Bachelor of Finance (Honours) and a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from The Australian National University.
