Terence Takaindisa is a legal professional with extensive experience in government and private sector roles. Currently serving as a Lawyer in the General Counsel Branch at the Commonwealth Treasury since June 2020, Terence has also held positions as Legislative Adviser, Acting Assistant Director in the Foreign Investment Division, and Analyst in the Foreign Investment Division. Prior to this, Terence worked at KPMG Australia from February 2018 to February 2020 as a Senior Analyst and Analyst in the Deals, Tax and Legal group focused on Infrastructure and Projects. Earlier career experiences include a graduate role at Rail Projects Victoria and a law clerk position at Batallion Legal. Terence began professional endeavors at Datacom as an ATO Customer Service Representative. Academically, Terence holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce from Macquarie University, a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from The College of Law Australia, and has completed law coursework at the University of Wollongong, alongside a Higher School Certificate from Kogarah High School.
