Zoya Sarapa

Zoya Sarapa currently works as an Analyst in both the Banking and Energy Units at Commonwealth Treasury since February 2021. Prior experience includes roles as an Economics Tutor and Tutor Coordinator at The University of Queensland from June 2017 to November 2020, where responsibilities involved teaching and coordinating tutorials for various economics courses. Zoya has also served as a Student Ambassador, representing the faculty at networking events, and contributed to community engagement efforts with Annerley Community Bookshop. An internship at the Reserve Bank of Australia provided experience in risk management, while a position as Research Project Lead at Johnathan Thurston Academy involved collaboration with the Queensland Department of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island Peoples. Zoya was actively involved in the University of Queensland Economics Society as Secretary and Socials' Officer and has held various roles in customer service and education. Zoya holds a Bachelor of Advanced Finance and Economics (Honours) from The University of Queensland.
