Tangila Sanders

Tangila Sanders is the current Web Content Manager at Communications Training Analysis Corporation. Prior to this, they worked as the Deputy Program Manager- Web Content Manager at Thomas and Herbert Consulting from April 2012 to September 2016. In this role, they were responsible for advising Chairman’s, various Commissioners’, Office of Communications and Office of the Secretary’s personnel on web content, layout and development to improve user experience.

Tangila also liaised and coordinated with Office of the General Counsel regarding Section508 compliance, analytics, metadata, Search Engine Optimization, document format, usability and other requirements per agency guidelines and standards. Additionally, they were responsible for performing quality control measures and ensuring web content and placement complied with agency guidelines and standards.

Tangila Sanders is an expert in web content management and blogs for government agencies. Tangila has supervised a team of 2 web content editors and 2 web system developers. Tangila has also created Google Analytics dashboards for agency personnel to track and evaluate content performance in multiple languages.

In addition to their role at Communications Training Analysis Corporation, Tangila Sanders is also a Mentor Protégé Program Digital Communications Strategist where they create digital communication strategies for small commercial businesses participating in the Mentor Protégé Program. As needed, they are involved in the creation, design, development and implementation of websites and social media platforms. Tangila is responsible for training participants’ staff on web hosting and maintenance in compliance with companies

Tangila Sanders received their B.A. in Communication and Media Studies from Howard University and their B.A. Degree in Radio Production from Howard University's John H. Johnson School of Communications. Tangila also has a certification from Communications Training Analysis Corp. (CTAC) in Integrated Management Systems and another from Cornell University in Women's Entrepreneurship.

Tangila Sanders reports to Don Royal, President & CEO. A direct report to Tangila Sanders is and Kira Coleman - Web Content Specialist. Tangila Sanders works with Corey Doyle - VP & Director of Business Operations, Scott Millard - Director of Human Resources, and Aaron Stowell - VP & CTO.
