Myrialis King's work experience begins in 2003 as a Litigation Paralegal at Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP. In 2005, they moved on to work as an Associate at Goodwin Procter LLP until 2011. During the same period, they also served as an Alum at Teach for America. From 2011 to 2013, Myrialis worked as a Teacher and Grade Level Co-chair at New Orleans College Preparatory Academies. Myrialis also held the position of English Language Arts (ELA) Curriculum Coordinator for fifth grade. In 2013, they became a Fellow at Building Excellent Schools. Following that, in 2014, Myrialis started their own school, Foundation Preparatory Charter School, where they served as the Founder and Head of School. Finally, in 2019, they became the Chief Executive Officer of Community Academies of New Orleans.
Myrialis King has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Law, Jurisprudence and Social Thought from Amherst College, and they have also completed their Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree at Howard University School of Law.
