Jamie Bellenoit has a diverse work experience in the field of mental health. They started their career in 1998 as a Counselor and Certified Lifeguard at Brightside Home for Families and Children. They then worked as a Clinical Therapist at the Humphrey Center for Marital and Family Therapy from 2004 to 2007. From 2006 to 2008, they served as a Parent Educator at the University of Connecticut Cooperative.
In 2007, Jamie became a Clinical Therapist and Marriage and Family Therapist at the Griswold Behavioral Health Center. They also worked at the University of Connecticut from 2004 to 2009, first as a Teaching Assistant, then as a Graduate Assistant and later as a Special Teaching Assignment.
In 2008, Jamie joined Adelbrook Behavioral and Developmental Services as the Chief Operating Officer, overseeing various operational functions. They held this role until 2013. During this time, they also established their own private practice as a Marriage and Family Therapist, providing specialized counseling services.
In 2014, Jamie worked as a Clinical Consultant at Adelbrook Behavioral and Developmental Services, where they collaborated with interdisciplinary team members to provide treatment for individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. They also became an Adjunct Faculty member at the University of Connecticut.
Lastly, in 2016, Jamie became the Chief Executive Officer of the Community Child Guidance Clinic, Inc., where they are responsible for leading the organization.
