Matt Moyer has a diverse work experience in the healthcare field. Matt started their career in 1994 as a Principal Investigator and Director of the Youth Empowerment Project at the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public Health, focusing on HIV prevention among young males. In 2004, they joined Childrens Hospital Los Angeles as a Project Coordinator for the My Choice Project, which aimed to prevent teen pregnancy through various education and outreach programs.
In 2009, Matt became the Director of Family Planning Programs at the California Family Health Council, overseeing the statewide Title X program that provided reproductive health services to over 1 million clients. Matt managed agency contracts, budgeting, and reporting.
Currently, Matt is working at the Community Clinic Association of Los Angeles County as the Director of Clinical Services. Since 2016, they have been responsible for overseeing clinical services and recently transitioned into the role of Senior Director.
Matt Moyer completed their Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Pittsburgh from 1989-1991. Matt later obtained a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Public Health from the same university, completing it from 1995-1997.
