Nina Vaccaro began their work experience in 2000 as a Clinic Manager at MEND. In 2006, they became the Executive Director of the Southside Coalition of Community Health Centers, where they focused on coordinating and improving healthcare for vulnerable communities in South Los Angeles. Nina held this role until 2016 when they joined the Community Clinic Association of Los Angeles County (CCALAC) as the Chief Operating Officer. At CCALAC, Nina worked to support non-profit community clinics and health centers in providing quality care to their patients. In 2018, they also became a member of the Board Of Directors for the Los Angeles Network for Enhanced Services. In 2019, Nina joined the Board of Governors of L.A. Care Health Plan.
Nina Vaccaro received a BA degree in Psychology and Health, Physical Education and Recreation from Whittier College in 1998. Nina later earned an MPH degree in Public Health from California State University, Northridge in 2003. Prior to their undergraduate studies, they attended Blair High School from 1990 to 1994.
