Kristy Hawkins

Kristy Hawkins has extensive experience in the counseling field, currently serving as an Intake Coordinator and Emergency Service Specialist at Community Counseling Center in Cape Girardeau, MO since June 2021. Prior to this role, Kristy held positions as a High School Counselor at Thomas W Kelly High School from August 2018 to May 2021 and at Jackson Senior High School from July 2013 to June 2018. Kristy's diverse background includes a variety of roles at Southern Illinois University, ranging from Campus Visit Program to Customer Service Supervisor, Control Operator, and Police Telecommunicator. Kristy is pursuing an Education Specialist degree in Counseling with a focus on Mental Health Counseling at Southeast Missouri State University, building on a solid educational foundation that includes a Master of Arts in School Counseling and a Master of Science in Education from Southern Illinois University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Speech Communication.
