Samara Silverman

Samara Silverman, LPC, is a mental health professional with extensive experience in various counseling roles. Currently serving as the Mental Health First Aid Coordinator at Community Counseling Centers of Chicago since February 2023, Samara previously worked as a Step Up Counselor at Lutheran Social Services of Illinois and as a Crisis Worker at Community Counseling Centers of Chicago (C4), where responsibilities included crisis intervention and psychoeducation presentations. Additional experience includes counseling internships at Lindblom Math & Science Academy and paraprofessional roles at Stevenson High School and CICS Northtown Academy. Samara holds a Master of Education in College Counseling and Student Affairs from DePaul University and a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education from Drake University.
