Alyssa Cobie-Nuss

Alyssa Cobie-Nuss currently serves as a Clinical Intern at Northeast Iowa Behavioral Health since August 2023. Previously, Alyssa has held the position of K-12 School Counselor at West Central Community School and Central Community Schools, with ongoing roles since August 2021 and August 2017, respectively. Additionally, Alyssa works as a Crisis Helplines Counselor with CommUnity Crisis Services and has experience as a Paraeducator at both Cedar Falls Community School District and North Fayette Valley High School. Early roles include a Graduate Student Research Assistant at the University of Minnesota and an internship at Bayswater Family Centre in London. Alyssa holds an Advanced Studies Certificate in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Northern Iowa, a Master's Degree in School Counseling from the same institution, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Central College.
