Karen Kleinhans, MHA

Karen Flanagan Kleinhans, MHA, serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Community Dental Care since January 2018, leading the largest nonprofit dental provider for underserved populations in Minnesota. Previous experience includes serving as Vice President of Corporate Development at Fresenius Medical Care North America, where oversight of joint venture negotiations for renal dialysis clinics was a primary responsibility. Karen also held the position of Chief Strategy Officer at Consulting Radiologists, Ltd, and was Director of Network Development at Allina Hospitals & Clinics, focusing on the development of integrated medical networks. Additional roles include Principal at KFK Consulting and Director of Strategy and Business Planning at Allina Health, along with earlier positions at Deloitte Consulting and Fairview Health Services. Educational credentials encompass a Master of Health Administration from the University of Minnesota, an Executive Education Course in Negotiation from Harvard University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Colorado Boulder.
