Mohammed al Obaid

Mohammed Al Obaid has a diverse work experience in the field of marketing and events. Mohammed started their career as an Events Organizer at Dubai Tourism in 2007. Mohammed then worked as a Senior Officer at the Roads and Transport Authority, where they managed conferences, exhibitions, and training programs. Mohammed later became a Chief Officer and Senior Planner at the same organization, where they supervised projects, organized delegations visits, and evaluated sponsorship opportunities. In 2016, Mohammed joined wasl group as a Marketing and Research Specialist, responsible for organizing CSR events and managing internal and external events. Since 2017, Mohammed has been working at Dubai Tourism as the Dubai Calendar Marketing Manager, where they develop campaigns, manages digital strategies, and plans social media for specific events. Currently, Mohammed is the Head of Marketing & Events at the Community Development Authority, where they contribute to strategic planning, manages the implementation of programs and projects, and reports performance indicators to senior management. Overall, Mohammed has extensive experience in marketing and event management roles.

Mohammed Al Obaid has a diverse education history. Mohammed completed a Dubai Future Experts Program at Dubai Future Academy in 2021-2022, specializing in Future Foresight. In the same period, they also pursued a Master's degree in International Business, Trade, and Tax Law at Université Panthéon Assas (Paris II). Prior to that, Mohammed obtained a Master's Degree in Innovation and Change Management from Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University from 2016 to 2018. In 2008-2010, they pursued a Diploma in Organizational Leadership through the Mohammed Bin Rashid Programme for leadership development. Mohammed also holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from Higher Colleges of Technology (2008-2009) and a Higher Diploma in E-business management from the same institution (2003-2007). Additionally, they have obtained certifications such as the International Computer Driving License certificate "ICDL" and the International English Language Testing System certificate "IELTS" with a band 6.0.
