Michael D. Taylor II is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in philanthropy, employment services, and workforce development. Currently serving as a Philanthropic Associate at the Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta since July 2023, Michael previously held positions including Site Director at the Center for Employment Opportunities, where efforts focused on reducing recidivism and enhancing employment opportunities for formerly incarcerated individuals. Additional experience includes roles such as Employee Relations Supervisor at UPS and Program Manager at Jobrise, which addresses employer retention challenges. Michael also contributed to workforce development as a Training Supervisor and Sr. Skills Development Advisor at WorkSource Atlanta, and gained legislative experience as a Legislative Aide for the Georgia General Assembly. Michael holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Economics from Morehouse College, completed in 2014.
