Leigh Elliott is an experienced nonprofit professional with a strong background in fundraising, organizational development, and strategic consulting. Currently serving as the Director of Development and Regional Philanthropy Officer for the American Red Cross of Tennessee since February 2019, Leigh oversees philanthropic efforts across Tennessee and neighboring regions. As the owner and principal of a nonprofit consulting practice since January 2014, strategic initiatives have included grant writing and organizational capacity building. Additionally, involvement with The Women’s Fund at the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee focuses on supporting programs for women and girls. Previous roles include Development Officer at Morris Animal Foundation, Operations and Development Manager at YESS Institute, and Director of Foundation Relations at the University of Denver. Leigh's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Sociology and a Bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
