Lisa Bird

Lisa Bird currently serves as a Community Grants Officer at The National Lottery Community Fund, focusing on assisting groups and charities in securing community grants for local projects. Prior to this role, Lisa was an Independent Modern Slavery Advisor at West Midlands Anti-Slavery Network CIC from February 2022 to June 2023. Lisa amassed significant experience at West Midlands Police over a span of nearly 32 years, holding the position of Detective Sergeant until December 2021, and later acting as a tactical and police policy advisor on issues related to modern slavery and human trafficking. Lisa's expertise includes safeguarding, intelligence gathering, and the investigation of exploitation involving both adults and children.
