Charles Wood

Charles Wood has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry. Charles started their career at Cascade Computer Maintenance in 2000, where they served as a Network Specialist, providing systems and network administration and on-site IT support. In 2002, they joined moloney + o'neill as a Network Administrator/Engineer, responsible for systems and network design and administration. At Trusted Spokane IT Company | HiTechnique LLC, where they worked from 2012 to 2016, they served as a Sr. Systems Engineer, providing consultant and engineering services and administering systems and network infrastructure. Since 2016, Charles has been working at CHAS Health, initially as a Systems Engineer II and currently as a Senior System Engineer. In this role, they are responsible for infrastructure design and administration, including HCI, virtual, SAN, physical server, backup systems, Windows server, and server applications. Charles also plays a key role in maintaining and administering systems and virtual infrastructure, as well as architecting scalable virtual and hyper-converged infrastructure.

Charles Wood obtained an Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) degree in Information Technology from Interface College-Spokane in 2011-2012. Prior to that, they received an A.A.S. degree in Electronics Engineering from ITT Technical Institute-Spokane Valley in 1996-1998. In addition, they have obtained certifications in A+, CCNA: Route/Switch, CCNA: Voice, Certified Linux Administrator (LPIC-1), MCSA Windows 2008 R2, Net+, Nutanix Certified Professional (NCP), and Security+.
