Zaharaa Altwaij is an accomplished undergraduate at Yale University, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in History of Science, Medicine, and Public Health, alongside Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology. Currently, Zaharaa serves as an Undergraduate Fellow in Women’s Health Research at Yale and is actively involved in various roles including Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Nachtergaele Lab, Director of Health and Wellness at Elena's Light, and Urban Fellows Program Co-Coordinator at Dwight Hall. With significant experience in community health education, event coordination, and mentoring, Zaharaa has played a vital role in supporting underprivileged students and communities, particularly through initiatives with organizations like QuestBridge and Matriculate.
