Amber P.

Amber P. has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Amber started their career in 2000 as a Violence Prevention Coordinator at the El Paso County Department of Health, where they conducted community assessments and feasibility studies to prioritize prevention needs. In 2001, they became a Project Director for The Greenbook Grant, a federally-funded initiative addressing domestic violence and child maltreatment. During this time, they successfully secured significant funding for El Paso County.

In 2007, Amber transitioned to YellowBird Consulting as a Strategy Consultant, focusing on infrastructure and impact. Amber worked with various organizations to clarify their mission, develop business plans, and solidify their roles within society. After three years, they joined The Gill Foundation in 2010 as the Director of the Gay & Lesbian Fund for Colorado.
